Membership

Benefits - The WCCA is dedicated to providing members with educational
opportunities for professional growth relative to recent industry trends, current
medical and legal issues, innovations in technology, and opportunities to network
with other professionals in the industry. The WCCA provides these benefits to
our members:

·        Fifteen meetings each year - five educational meetings per chapter annually, offering the “best of the best” keynote speakers, educational seminars and opportunities for networking

·        Leadership opportunities and experience by way of participation in program committees and corporate governance as a board member

·       Annual Holiday Party held at each chapter location in November and December. During the summer we have an outing to get to know our members and guests. (2004 - Maywood Race Track, 2005 - FantaSEA Cocktail Cruise) Generally, we schedule a meeting with the Illinois Industrial Commission in the fall to tour their facilities, observe some trials and talk directly with IIC officials and judges.

Fees - Membership fees vary according to the type of membership you choose. 
A Regular Member is a member who is employed by an insurance company or TPA. An Associate Member is one who works for a vendor within the workers’ compensation industry. An Individual Membership is where the individual member owns the membership allowing the member to keep their membership status in the event they become re-employed elsewhere. Corporate memberships are available to companies who pay for multiple memberships. They may send any of their employees to meetings and events up to the maximum number of memberships they paid for. The rates for annual membership are as follows:

We collect dues each October. If you decided to join during any other month, your dues will be pro-rated accordingly.

Payment – You may pay by check and forward same to the WCCA or pay online using a Visa or Master Card.
